Leichtmut Camera Bags are purpose-built and extensively tested, crafted to meet the unique demands of outdoor photographers. My mission was simple: to create ultralight camera bags that provide strong protection from the elements while allowing quick, easy access – so you’ll never miss a shot on the trail.
After many hikes and iterations, four core design principles emerged to guide each decision: make the camera bags as ultralight as possible, ensure weatherproofing, enable instant access to the camera, and offer flexible carrying options.
These bags achieve their ultralight design through advanced materials like Ultra 200 and Ultra 200 X, and offer versatile carrying options with multiple attachment points. The real breakthrough, however, was in balancing weatherproofing with instant accessibility – a feature that sets Leichtmut Camera Bags apart.
Each bag combines a rolltop design with a unique magnetic quick-flip system for fast, effortless access. Here’s how it works: the rolltop fully protects your gear from harsh weather, but when conditions improve, you simply unroll it once and flip down the lid. Strong magnets lock the lid securely, so your gear stays protected from rain and dust. When you’re ready to shoot, just flip up the lid to access your camera.
