I highly recommend adding the plastic triangle hooks or a dedicated loop on the side for more balanced and comfortable carry of heavier load as a slinger. For primary outdoor backpacking use with occasional city use as a slinger, I would exclude the back mesh pocket with Velcro (it catches on my wool layers) to reduce a bit of weight and I don’t really need it when hiking. Overall, fantastic bag, and one I would bring with me for every adventure.”

The accessory cord connector works but I think MOLLE strapes would be a good option. I mounted the bag on my hip belt using cord loops and a backup carabineer. A small tie-in inside the bag would have been useful to connect the security cord (so if I drop the camera it doesn't bounce down the mountain) I had to connect it to my backpack so the cord compromised the weather protection.”

“Die Roamer in der Größe L ist wirklich die ideale Lösung für mein Wandersetup und ein echtes "Platzwunder". Ich hab ohne Probleme 2 Bodys (Lumix S5IIX & Lumix S9) mit 2 Optiken (18mm Prime und 28-200mm Zoom) + Zubehör (Akkus, Mic, Powerbank, Filter) reinbekommen. Es war sogar noch Platz für Handschuhe, Taschentücher, Stirnlampe und anderes Kleinzeug. Durch das Drybag-Prinzip, bekommt man echt viel rein. Zum ersten Mal getestet im Lake District, England und sie hat den Regentest auf alle Fälle bestanden. Es war alles immer super schnell griffbereit! Auch die Kommunikation mit Jacob war 1A. Ich würde die Extra-Option mit den Mesh-Taschen außen sehr empfehlen. Perfekt fürs Smartphone, Filter, Earpods oder auch Müsliriegel. Bei dem Material Ultra 100x ist zu beachten, dass der Stoff faltig/knittrig wird und dann keine "glatte" Oberfläche mehr hat. Das ist normal für das Material aber vielleicht zu beachten, falls einem das optisch stören sollte. Es beeinträchtig die Funktion aber nicht und es ist eben dafür ultralight. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert!”

“Die Tasche wurde nach meinen Maßangaben in kürzester Zeit hergestellt und rechtzeitig vor einer längeren Reise geliefert. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Tasche zufrieden, sehe aber einige Verbesserungspunkte, die ich z.T. bereits selbst vorgenommen habe. Hier meine Einschätzung nach ausgiebigem Einsatz im Überblick: Positiv: + Tasche genau nach Maß (gut 1 cm zusätzlich Spiel wird bei der Herstellung berücksichtigt und ist sinnvoll) + handwerklich gut und sauber verarbeitet + extrem (!) leicht + äußere Hülle schmutzunempfindlich + Anbringungsmöglichkeit am Rucksack vor dem Oberkörper mit Hilfe der Verlängerungsriemen toll gelöst. Tasche liegt dabei ausreichend am Körper an. Verbesserungsfähig: – beiliegende Polsterungen nur 4 mm statt 8 mm wie angegeben. Daher habe ich die Polster doppelt verwendet und aus meinem Fotorucksack Klettpolster entnommen und ein altes Kniekissen zweckentfremdet, um meine Ausrüstung ausreichend zu schützen. – die beigefügten gepolsterten Raumteiler haben nur einen sehr schmalen Klettrand zur Befestigung in der Tasche. ein halber cm mehr würde die Befestigung in der Tasche deutlich erleichtern. – an einem der Klettpolster aus meinem Fotorucksack ist eine Einschubtasche für Speicherkarten oder einen Ersatz-Akku fixiert. Sehr praktisch, damit sich kleine Teile nicht in den Tiefen der Tasche verabschieden (nicht zwingend notwendig, aber in jedem Fall nice-to-have) – zusätzlich bestellter Tragegurt wirkt nicht besonders robust, Polster ist bei Equipment mit etwas mehr Gewicht auf Dauer zu gering. Ich hatte zum Glück noch einen Trageriemen mit ordentlichem Polster und robusten und drehbaren Karabinern übrig, den ich sofort gegen den gelieferten ausgetauscht habe. – gerade bei schwererer Ausrüstung wäre es sinnvoll, den Trageriemen für das Tragen über der Schulter nicht allein an den beiden als Extra bestellten Ösen an der Taschenseite einzuhaken. Die Sicherheit würde verbessert, wenn der Trageriemen an der Unterseite komplett durchgeschoben werden könnte. – die Unterseite der Tasche besitzt leider keinen Schutz gegen Dreck; 4-6 Höcker aus Plastik würden da Abhilfe schaffen. – die zur Befestigung an der Rückseite beigefügten aufklappbaren Karabiner sind recht filigran und wirken nicht besonders stabil. Einer davon hat sich ohne weiteres Zutun bereits auf dem Hinflug im Gepäckfach des Flugzeuges verabschiedet. Zum Glück hatte ich noch ein paar leichte Alukarabinerhaken dabei. Nachdem meine Ausrüstung gut 3,5 kg auf die Waage bringt, ist mein Zutrauen in die mitgelieferten filigranen Karabiner nur sehr eingeschränkt. Schließlich hängt von deren Stabilität die Sicherheit meines teuren Equipments ab. Also besser stabilere Karabiner aus Aluminium verwenden. – die Magnete im Rolltop könnten etwas breiter sein (alternativ 2 mehr davon), damit die Tasche unkompliziert schließt, auch wenn man in der Eile die Kanten nicht so ganz perfekt übereinander legt. Mein Fazit: Die Idee der Tasche ist grundsätzlich wirklich genial, insbesondere mit der Möglichkeit der Befestigung an einem klassischen Rucksack. Das Produkt passt auf alle Fälle für leichtes Fotoequipment wie eine APS-C- oder MFT-Kamera mit entsprechenden Objektiven. Bei einer Vollformatkamera mit 2-3 Objektiven braucht es m.E. eher eine "heavy duty"-Version. Dies bedeutet natürlich höhere Materialkosten und Herstellungsaufwand, die sich im Preis niederschlagen dürften. Möglicherweise gibt das der Markt aber nur bedingt her.”

“Love the fully individual design options – and done in less than the promised two weeks : ) many companies can't send out in-stock items in the time you build one ; ) – designed for the exact measurements of my cam (one-size-fits-all never fits the huge differences in cameras) – mix of 8mm padding in front and 4mm on the sides (also needed for falls – padding is not very stiff) – colorful XPac (my favorite blue) but also lighter fabrics (Ultra) if you don't mind UL grey/black – additional roll-clips on the side instead of top only – two rolls instead of three for lower access (magnet at the top instead of front) – if rolled tight can still get three rolls in (for day-long deluges) – magnet-closure a great option for fast access when it's not raining but does not hold a 1kg Nikon when bending over (up-side-down – 90° is fine) – side clips come in handy for clipping closed unrolled (just folded over) – lots of attachment options (four loops each side) providing ample do-your-own-tinkering opportunities to fit to your backpack”
